Airbnb accommodations in Guernsey County offer seclusion and luxury

Although Guernsey County is considered Appalachian, AirBNB rentals are available at luxury prices for the country’s luxury goods.

The Daily Jeffersonian searched Guernsey County on Airbnb for the most expensive short-term rentals on the market for any available date (prices vary by time of year) and came across these listings in July that are definitely above the usual prices in the area.

Check out these eight and enjoy a vacation or holiday at home.

Located on 113 private acres between Salt Fork State Park and downtown Cambridge, this secluded 9-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home offers a home theater, billiards room, and dirt or wooded walking trail. Cost: $1,096 per night.

This Senecaville retreat sleeps 16 and is located near Seneca Lake. It offers a pool, hot tub, game room and well-equipped kitchen. The loft can be used for reading or talking. The game room offers ping pong, pop-a-shot, foosball or basketball. Cost: $650 per night.

This 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom home offers gorgeous views of Salt Fork State Park. The modern farmhouse style can accommodate a variety of guests, especially those who enjoy the great outdoors. Cost: $650 per night.

Located on 21 acres outside of Cambridge, close to The Wilds, this 4-bedroom home features an in-ground pool, hot tub, deck overlooking a valley, and a fully equipped kitchen. Cost: $409 per night.

This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath log cabin is located on 10 wooded acres with two fishing ponds. It also offers a hot tub, game room, 2 fireplaces and a fire pit. It is centrally located to Salt Fork State Park, Seneca Lake and The Wilds. Cost: $400 per night.

This 5 bedroom, 3 bath vacation rental is fully restored and features timber framing, a custom kitchen, stone fireplace, fishing pond, volleyball court, wiffle ball court and game room in the basement. It also offers 3 full RV hookups. Cost: $367 per night.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home offers the opportunity to explore trails, streams, woods and fields. Guests can fish on the 2 1/2 acre lake and the home includes a boat, basic fishing gear, bait and firewood. You can also kayak on the lake if you bring your own. 15 minutes from Salt Fork State Park. Cost: $340 per night.

This 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin offers guests three stories and 3,000 square feet of living space in southeast Ohio. It offers hiking trails, fishing on a private stocked lake, and firewood for outdoor cooking and campfires. Cost: $334 per night.
