At least four fires are raging within 100 miles of Los Angeles. Here’s a quick look at where they are and what you need to know about them.
Bridge fire
The Bridge Fire broke out Sunday afternoon in the Angeles National Forest northeast of Glendora in the East Fork of the San Gabriel Canyon. By Tuesday night, the fire had spread to thousands of acres and was out of control, prompting numerous mandatory evacuations, including in Wrightwood and Palmdale.
A live camera feed from Mountain High Resort showed flames raging through a ski lift area.
Firefighters are battling the blaze despite a heat warning that is in effect until Wednesday afternoon. Low humidity and gusty winds are making it difficult to contain the fire.

- 30 residences in Wrightwood and Palmdale
- East Fork communities of Camp Williams Resort, which includes a trailer park and campground, and the adjacent river community
- Homes along Mt. Baldy Road and all residents north of the San Antonio Dam to Mt. Baldy

Airport fire
The airport fire, sparked by a spark from heavy equipment, broke out in Trabuco Canyon on Monday and spread into the Santa Ana Mountains on Tuesday. At least three people were injured – two firefighters from heat injuries and a civilian from smoke inhalation.

Line fire
The Line Fire began in San Bernardino County on Thursday. Three firefighters were injured in the first few days of the fire. According to Cal Fire, firefighters had to deal with steep terrain with difficult access, especially in the Big Bear area. 65,600 structures were threatened by the fire.

Roblar Fire
The Roblar Fire started Saturday afternoon at Camp Pendleton near Case Springs Road in San Diego County. Camp Pendleton says there is no danger to people or structures.
