HONOLULU (KHON2) — The 70th annual Waikiki Hoolaulea transforms Kalakaua Avenue into a lively street festival on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

This year’s event will feature more than 100 vendors showcasing Hawaiian cuisine, crafts and culture, with new additions including Manaola, Kababa Mama and Blue Water Shrimp.
Visitors can enjoy live on-site entertainment on four stages along Kalākaua Avenue, sponsored by the Royal Hawaiian Center, Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts, Hawaiian Airlines and International Market Place & Moani Waikiki.
For the first time, guests ages 21 and older can relax in the Aloha Festival’s official beer garden by the Banyan Tree in International Market Place.
Road closures will begin at 12:30 p.m., with the full closure of Kalākaua Avenue from Seaside Avenue to Lili’uokalani Avenue beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Parking confirmation is available at the Royal Hawaiian Center, 2201 Kalkaua Ave.
