Dave Grohl has experienced a lot of relationship drama in public, including several infidelity scandals.
The Foo Fighters rocker was married twice and left both times. He and his first wife Jennifer Leigh Youngblood married in 1994.
“When I met my wife, we went on a few dates and I decided I wasn’t ready for a serious relationship, so I just stopped calling,” Grohl said. Elle in 2007. “After three months, I had an epiphany and called her back. She picked up the phone and said, ‘Oh, I never thought I’d hear from you again.'”
The couple divorced in 1997 after Grohl admitted his infidelity.
He moved on and married his current wife Jordyn Blum in 2003. They have three daughters together: Violet, Harper and Ophelia Grohl.

In September 2024, the singer again admitted his infidelity and revealed in an Instagram statement that he had fathered an illegitimate daughter.

In her 2003 memoir, Basich recalled that Grohl was “busy” during their relationship Pretty Good for a Girl: The Autobiography of a Snowboard PioneerShe cited his career as a point of contention between them.
“I don’t know how anyone in their profession can have a normal relationship with a girlfriend… or two, as it turns out,” she wrote. “I found out secondhand, through rumors, when it seemed like everyone in the world knew about it but me.”
Although she tried to get details out of Grohl, the athlete wrote that he told her “nothing” and broke up with her.
“All I got was a five-minute phone call from him after five weeks of calling and trying to reach him because I just had to know if these rumors were true and hear it straight from the source,” she wrote.

During an interview with The GuardianIt was printed that Grohl “admitted infidelity that led to his divorce from his first wife.” Further details about his separation from Youngblood were not released.

Fathering a child outside of marriage

“I recently became a father to a daughter born outside of my marriage,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “I plan to be a loving and supportive father to her. I love my wife and children and am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
