So it seems the format change has thrown some of our usual voters off track, but the bottom line is this: You only have about two months left to cast your vote for your favorite New Tampa and Wesley Chapel restaurants—and win FREE meals valued at up to $200 at a restaurant of your choice!

If you click on HEREyou’ll find lists of all the local and small chain restaurants in a number of categories in Wesley Chapel and New Tampa). We ask that you name your favorites in each category. You can skip as many categories as you like, but we group the restaurant lists by type. Here are those categories:

1) Your five favorite restaurants (overall) in Wesley Chapel (WC)

2) Your favorite American restaurant in Wesley Chapel

3) Your favorite pizzeria in WC

These same categories also appear on the ballot for New Tampa. Both entry forms also include lists of places where you can select your favorite places in New Tampa (NT) AND Wesley Chapel (WC). Here are the other categories:

1) Your favorite Mexican restaurant in NT/WC

2) Your favorite Latin American (but not Mexican) restaurant in NT/WC

3) Your favorite Chinese restaurant in NT/WC

4) Your favorite Japanese/Sushi restaurant in NT & WC

5) Your favorite Thai or Korean restaurant in NT/WC

6) Your favorite Italian food in NT/WC

7) Your favorite restaurant for Greek or Mediterranean cuisine in NT/WC

8) Your favorite Indian restaurant in NT/WC

9) Your favorite breakfast place in NT/WC

9) Your favorite ice cream, frozen yogurt or gelato shop in NT/WC

10) Your favorite bakery in NT/WC

11) Your favourite cafe in NT/WC

We’re providing the lists of locations — however, we’ve left out the major national and regional chains (with more than 50-60 locations total) because you still have to type the names of your favorites into the fields provided and we’re pretty sure you know those chains if they’re your favorites in a category — and yes, you can still include them (we just wish you’d focus more on local things).

Fill in as many categories as you like, but please do not enter the same name in each category as these votes will not be counted. And, If a restaurant is on our Wesley Chapel list, your vote will not count if you write that restaurant’s name in a box designated only for New Tampa, and vice versa. You can cast ballots for both New Tampa and Wesley Chapel without being disqualified.

We have increased the prizes for this year – the grand prize is now $200, plus prizes of $100 and $50 randomly selected from all correctly completed entries received via email or on our NeighborhoodNewsOnline.net Website (Note-No entries via US mail will be accepted for this year’s competition!) from Friday, October 18.
