Archaeologists unearth millennia-old shopping receipt

While completing restoration work following an earthquake, archaeologists made a remarkable discovery: an Akkadian cuneiform tablet dating to the 15th century BC.

An administrative entry or receipt for a large amount of your furniture purchase is engraved on the board.

The discovery was made in Aççana Höyük, known as Eski Alalah, in Turkey.
