If there’s one thing Aubrey Plaza does better than anyone, it’s a dry, dark sense of humor, so why not wear the fashion to match?

The actor made a stunning appearance at the special launch event for Marvel Television’s Agatha all the timethe spooky fantasy miniseries in which she plays Rio Vidal, a warrior witch. Plaza, who always dresses for the role, debuted a striking black floral lace dress by Loewe on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles.

The piece featured a strapless corset bodice in black rose-patterned lace against a beige background. At the waist, the boning jutted out to the sides, creating a dramatic, jagged silhouette that flowed into a draped sheer skirt in the same floral lace.

Styled by Jessica Paster, Plaza completed the sultry ensemble, portraying a cross between a witch and a rich widow, with pointy black pumps, dangling diamond earrings and black eyeliner. Her hair was styled in a messy, wavy hairstyle.

In her recent Time In the cover story, Plaza talked about how she shot scenes for Big city And Agatha all the time during the same period, and she noticed that she plays a Machiavellian journalist in Francis Ford Coppola’s film and a witch in the other, but “both are villainous characters.”

“But I am a platinum blonde covered in diamonds and wear Versace dresses worth thousands of dollars in Big cityand then for Agatha (All the time), I’m wearing a jet black wig and I’m dressed like a warrior-style supervillain,” she said. The actress added that she “felt completely insane” and like she was “ripping a hole in the fabric of the universe and taking a quantum leap into other worlds.”

Agatha all the time will premiere on Disney+ on September 18, while Big city will be released in US theaters on September 27th.
