Like many wrestling fans who discuss how WWE 2019 will never leave their minds – for better or for worse – Baron Corbin says the smell of the dog food he poured on Roman Reigns on December 6 of that year hasn’t left his mind either.
Until Jey Uso at WWE Money in the Bank 2023, Baron Corbin was the last person to defeat Roman Reigns in several years. Corbin and Roman feuded throughout the latter half of 2019 and early 2020. One of the turning points in their rivalry was on the December 6, 2019 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, where Corbin and Dolph Ziggler showered Roman Reigns with dog food because Roman was known as “The Big Dog” at the time.
On Twitter, Corbin responded to a clip of the moment, saying the smell still sticks in his head. He also joked that it still smells better than cat food.
