At Black By God, we love celebrating our favorite black-owned businesses and today we’re spotlighting Upland Soul Food, a restaurant in Beckley, West Virginia that’s quickly becoming a community favorite.
The restaurant features the beloved family recipes of the Grandjean family. Co-owners Tamara Grandjean and Robert Dunlap bring their culinary heritage to life, serving a variety of popular “soul food” dishes: roasted chicken, meatloaf, collard greens, mac and cheese and more.
“It’s comfort food,” says Grandjean. “Food that makes you feel good and happy.”
Please support Upland Soul and other amazing black-owned businesses in our community. Your support helps ensure these businesses continue to thrive and enrich our neighborhoods.
