Beef & Boards presents 5 new shows • Latest releases

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre’s 2025 schedule includes five new shows for the Indianapolis venue, headlined by Broadway hits “Jersey Boys” and “Waitress.”

“New shows are controlled by the theater franchises,” said Doug Stark, owner of Beef & Boards. “We were lucky to have so many new shows available to us and thought this was the perfect year to do it – regional premieres in central Indiana. I believe ‘Waitress’ and ‘Tootsie’ have played in the Broadway series, but this will be the regional premiere and ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ will be brand new to our audiences.”

The first show to premiere at Beef & Boards is Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, running January 9 to February 9.

The story of Frankie Valli and the four seasons is told in “Jersey Boys,” which runs from February 14 to April 13. The musical won the Tony Award for Best Musical.

“Church Basement Ladies,” a musical comedy, runs April 17 through May 18. Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” returns May 22 through July 13. As this is the family show of the season, all children ages 3 to 15 receive $10 off tickets.

“Waitress” will premiere on July 17 and end on August 31. The musical centers on Jenna, a talented cake baker and waitress whose goal is to leave her small town.

Heartbreak Hotel follows the legendary rise of Elvis Presley. The musical, which runs from September 4 to October 12, features more than 40 of Presley’s hits.

“Tootsie” hits theaters on October 16 and runs through November 23. To land his dream role, unemployed actor Michael Dorsey disguises himself as actress “Dorothy Michaels.”

The holiday season will see the return of the original variety show “A Beef & Boards Christmas,” which runs from November 28th to December 31st.

“What I love about this season is its diversity,” Stark said. “There’s something for everyone, from kids to grandparents to rockers and everyone in between.”

“Jersey Boys” and “Heartbreak Hotel” are likely to be popular with fans of the early days of rock ‘n’ roll.

“These new shows are not just jukebox musicals,” Stark said. “They tell the life stories of real people and audiences will not be disappointed.”
