It’s time to evaluate some red carpet looks, because the 2024 Emmy Awards are taking place this Sunday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Even though it feels like this awards show literally just aired (the postponed 2023 Emmys took place eight months ago, but now we’re back to regular programming), it’s time again for television’s biggest night. And we can always count on the Emmys red carpet to deliver glamour and great dresses… beautiful dresses. Shogun, The bear, And Only murders in the building Each of them received more than 20 nominations, which means we’re eagerly awaiting Jeremy Allen White and Selena Gomez’s red carpet appearances. We’re also keeping an eye out for Anna Sawai, Dakota Fanning, Ayo Edebiri, Kali Reis and everyone’s favorite father-son duo, tonight’s hosts Eugene and Dan Levy.

There’s our girl! One of the most anticipated new arrivals of the evening did not disappoint in a figure-hugging black dress with an embellished halter neck. It’s simple, elegant and incredibly flattering.

Greta Lee and her stylist Danielle Goldberg have brought glamour back to the red carpet over the past two seasons, and this Loewe look is no exception. The sculptural neckline and gem-studded earrings create a look that exudes luxury.

The 3 Body problems The actress opted for a pink sequined column dress and matching feather cape by Tamara Ralf, which she described as “happy and cheerful” during a red carpet interview with Laverne Cox. She accessorized with star-shaped earrings by David Yurman as a nod to the space and alien themes in her Emmy-nominated Netflix series.

Purnell, who plays Lucy MacLean in the Emmy-nominated Prime Video series Stand out, looked ready for a night at Studio 54 in a plunging chainmail dress. Her voluminous ’70s-inspired hair and burgundy lips matched it perfectly.
