Best MLB prop bets today (Kyle Freeland will get strikeouts against the Braves)

Best MLB prop bets today (Kyle Freeland will get strikeouts against the Braves)

Sunday action in Major League Baseball is just around the corner and it’s time to place some bets.

If you’re a fan of player props or just want to add a few to your betting list today, you’ve come to the right place. I have two player props in mind for Sunday’s games that I’d like to share with you. Let’s take a look.

You probably didn’t think you’d be betting on Blake Perkins today, but that’s just how it is. The Brewers outfielder has been great against lefties this season, increasing his batting average from .242 against righties to .297 against lefties. That’s become even more evident recently, as he has a .452 batting average against lefties since July 1, the second-best mark in the major leagues during that time period.

Today, he and the Brewers face a left-handed hitter in Nick Lodolo, which sets up the perfect setting for a strong performance from Perkins. We can bet +125 on him hitting at least one single at DraftKings, and that seems like a great bet to me.

Tip: Blake Perkins OVER 0.5 Singles (+125)

The Braves have had a lot of trouble with strikeouts lately, especially against left-handed pitchers. Since July 1, they have allowed strikeouts in 35.0% of their at-bats against left-handed pitchers, which is 3.5% more than the next worst team.

Today they face a left-handed pitcher, Kyle Freeland, so expect him to be able to get strikeouts against this Braves team. It helps that he has exceeded that number in five of his last six starts.

Selection: Kyle Freeland OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (+126)

The odds are updated regularly and are subject to change.
