Black Myth Wukong Buddha’s Eyeball Locations and Where to Use Them

Black Myth Wukong Buddha’s Eyeball Locations and Where to Use Them

As you travel west in Black Myth Wukong, you can find and collect many strange items. Some of them will improve your combat skills, while others will give you more combat experience. Buddha’s eyeballs belong to the latter and allow you to take on a gigantic boss if you can track down all six.

These eyeballs are scattered throughout the game’s second chapter, all attached to Buddha heads. While many of them are hard to miss due to the music that accompanies them, you may miss a few. Without further ado, here is where to find and use all six Buddha Eyeballs in Black Myth Wukong.

Black Myth Wukong Buddha’s Eyeball Locations

In the second chapter of Black Myth Wukong, there are a total of six Buddha Eyeballs to be found in the areas around the Squall Hideout and Rockrest Flat Keeper shrines.

Buddha’s Eyeball No. 1

The first Buddha Eyeball can be found as soon as you enter Fright Cliffs; it is located in front of the Squall Hideout Keeper’s shrine and is guarded by a Pitstone enemy. As you approach, listen to the music, as this is the music you will hear when a Buddha head – and therefore an eyeball – is nearby.

Fright Cliffs are accessible after battling the Second Prince of the Flowing Sands and the King of the Flowing Sands in Sandgate Village.

Once you enter Fright Cliffs and grab the first Buddha Eyeball upon entry, don’t forget to grab the Squall Hideout Keeper’s Shrine right before it as well.

The music will still play when you approach Buddha heads whose eyeballs you have already collected, so keep that in mind. You will also need to defeat all of the angry enemies before you can collect the Buddha eyeball too!

Buddha’s Eyeball No. 2

The second Buddha Eyeball is located in the cave just to the left of the first one. When you enter the cave, follow the music to the left to see it in a small hut.

Buddha’s Eyeball No. 3

The third Buddha eyeball can be found directly in front of the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine; it is hard to miss.

If you continue through the cave where the second eyeball was located and exit to the right when you get the chance, you will quickly reach the shrine.

Buddha’s Eyeball No. 4

Return to the Squall Hideout Keeper’s Shrine and instead of going into the cave on the left, head up the path to the right. This path then branches off into several paths, but keep to the left where the Pitstone enemy is. The fourth Buddha Eyeball is further up this path.

Buddha’s Eyeball No. 5

The fifth Buddha Eyeball is in the same cave as the second one, but instead of leaving the cave, climb all the way to the top where you’ll find the immobile Mother of Stones boss. You’re safe from them as long as you don’t attack, but I recommend doing this as part of the Man in Stone quest.

When you face the Mother of Stones, look to the right. There is a ledge. Follow the ledge to the right to find the next Eyeball.

Buddha’s Eyeball No. 6

From Squall Hideout, you’ll want to follow the paths to your right again. This time, head up to the wooden structures with skeletons on them. At the top, you’ll find the sixth and final Buddha Eyeball.

Where to use Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth Wukong

After collecting all six Buddha Eyeballs, it’s time to use them in Black Myth Wukong. First, you’ll need to defeat the Stone Vanguard in his arena near the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine.

Once it’s cut down, you should notice a large rock just to the left of the arena entrance. Once you have all of the Buddha Eyeballs in your possession, you can interact with the rock.

After the stone and Buddha Eyeballs are fused together, another unruly secret boss is revealed: Shigandang. He may be huge, but thankfully he’s not really any tougher than the Stone Vanguard you fought before him. Good luck!
