The best armor sets for the beginning of the game in Black Myth: Wukong

There are three armor sets that players should keep an eye on once they’ve been unlocked for the first few chapters of the game: Gale Guardian, Dance Of The Black Wind, and Evil Crasher. All are crafted at a nearby shrine using materials like silk.

Dance of the Black Wind Armor Set

This set is a bit more specific than the other options and relies heavily on using the Cloud Step spell. This armor set also only has three pieces, so your headgear remains available for any other option without affecting the set bonus:

• 3 pieces equipped = While you are in the Cloud Step, Black Wind attacks nearby enemies.

This armor set encourages players to take their time with the Cloud Step, which is great for defensive players who prefer to watch their opponent’s movements and plan an attack before going in. The extra damage from the black wind is useful, but will rely on players to prioritize this spell.

Stormguard Armor Set

This set focuses on the player dodging perfectly, which is already your primary method of avoiding damage. While it may take some getting used to mastering the timing, dodging perfectly quickly becomes the norm in combat, allowing players to take full advantage of this armor set:

• 2 parts equipped = Perfect dodge provide additional focus
• 4 parts equipped = perfect evasive maneuvers Slightly reduce cooldown of all spells.

Since dodging and trying to get perfect dodges is already something players will be doing, this armor set simply builds on that basic playstyle. The spell cooldown is a huge help on some of the longer cooldowns, and the additional focus helps to strengthen your hard attacks from the stance in the middle of the fight.

Evil Crasher Armor Set

The Evil Crasher armor set focuses on the Immobilize spell, which is already one of the best spells available to players. While this armor set relies heavily on that spell, it takes a powerful spell and makes it even stronger with its set bonus:

• 2 parts equipped = deals additional damage to enemies upon collision from immobilization.
• 4 pieces equipped = When colliding with an opponent, massive Reduce the cooldown of Immobilize.

While this armor set requires players to learn how to regenerate mana, The immobilization spell is worth the concentrated attention. Bonus damage and a shorter cooldown make this the ideal armor set for the bosses in chapters one and two and beyond.
