Bloomingdale’s and Rebag partner on in-store luxury resale initiative

Luxury resale platform Rebag has partnered with department store chain Bloomingdale’s to expand access to the luxury resale market.

The aim of this collaboration is to democratize the luxury goods market by offering a curated selection of over 2,500 pre-owned designer items such as handbags and fine jewelry online.

More than 500 items will also be available at five select Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide, including The Mall at Short Hills, White Plains in New York and Town Center in Boca Raton.

Bloomingdale’s customers have the opportunity to receive offers on items they want to sell using Rebag’s proprietary AI tool, CLAIR, which leverages millions of data points for quick offers and payouts.

This strategic retail and digital collaboration aims to promote sustainability and circular economy in the luxury market.

This allows Bloomingdale’s customers to seamlessly switch between new and used luxury items and enhance their shopping experience with exceptional deals.
