Bobby Lashley had a stellar run during his second tenure in WWE, becoming a two-time WWE Champion and taking part in various memorable storylines. With his WWE contract set to expire soon, it looks like Lashley will be near the venue for AEW Collision on August 10.

Lashley suffered an injury while training earlier this year and was pulled from the King of the Ring tournament. He hasn’t been seen on WWE television since he and his fans became concerned about his status with the company. Then it was reported that Bobby Lashley’s contract would expire this month.

We reported at the time that Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract would expire that weekend and that Lashley had been discussed behind the scenes at AEW, but no formal offer had been made at that time.

Fightful Select reports that Bobby Lashley will be hosting a belated birthday party in Texas on Saturday night, near the venue of AEW Collision, which is taking place at Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas. Many wrestlers are expected to attend the event.

We also reported that Bobby Lashley has options outside of professional wrestling as well. Regardless, it remains to be seen if The Almighty will find his way to AEW as anything is possible now.
