The fall 2024 issue of Boston Home features our annual Kitchen Show, our annual showcase of the most used room in the home. In addition to information on new products and trending items from three of the city’s best kitchen design firms, we’re spotlighting several standout kitchens. We’ve got an almost all-black gem and a classic white kitchen that’s reminiscent of farmhouse style. If, like me, you thought white kitchens were a thing of the past, you’re wrong! Local pros tell me that white is still a popular choice for kitchen cabinets because of its clean, timeless look. However, I have a soft spot for the unconventional gem on the cover above, with its custom green cabinets and magenta pendant lights over the kitchen island. The kitchen, designed by Kate Maloney, is located in a hundred-year-old Tudor home. We’re showing the whole house here and below.
