Tallulah Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis, spoke about her father’s battle with frontotemporal dementia and the profound impact it has had on the family.

“It’s still like that, which is a good thing in this situation,” she told E! News about his current condition. “There’s so much love when we visit and I feel it. The most important thing for me is to be able to have that connection.”

Tallulah, 30, continued to speak openly about how connected she felt to her father during this difficult time.

“I know he knows how much I love him. I know how much he loves me, I know how much he loves all of us,” she noted. “It’s hard for anyone going through this. But it’s really created an opportunity for more love for my family.”

She also talked about how her family is dealing with his “painful” battle with dementia.

“There is so much love in our family,” Tallulah added. “It’s a love that is very supportive and very stable. The support is not fragile or conditional in the way we support each other.”

“We are in a unique position with this platform. Each of us has a voice in our own way and I think that is deeply rooted. I especially know how we can use something painful, challenging or a struggle and create awareness about it.”

Last week, Bruce’s eldest daughter Rumer also gave a brief update about her father.

During an “Ask Me Anything (AMA) Uncensored” segment she shared on her Instagram stories, she was asked how her father was doing following his dementia diagnosis. “How is your dad? Sending you all love,” Rumer was asked.

“He’s great. I love him so much. Thank you,” she replied.

Bruce married Emma Heming Willis in 2009. They have two daughters together, Mabel and Evelyn.

The Hollywood actor was first diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022. Since it was announced that he was retiring from acting following his serious health diagnosis, he has largely retreated from the spotlight.
