BUCKINGHAM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — A Bucks County man shot and killed two people who neighbors said were family members and then turned the gun on himself in a Buckingham Township home.

At around 10:27 a.m. Monday, officers were called to the 3900 block of Charter Club Drive after an elderly caller reported that several people were dead in the home, authorities said.

In the house, officers found two men and a woman who had died from gunshot wounds to the head.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, 59-year-old Steven Chow shot 21-year-old Raymond Chow and 63-year-old Amy Troung while they lay in their beds. He then shot himself, investigators said.

Police have not disclosed the family relationships of the victims, but residents of this normally quiet neighborhood said they were family members who had lived in the block for more than a decade.

“They’re always a very nice, quiet family. They go for a lot of walks. They’re always outside taking care of their landscaping,” said Jennifer DiCarlantonio, who lives on the block.

“It’s heartbreaking, he was a 21-year-old boy. Nobody deserved this,” added Lisa Brown.

Brown told Action News her son went to Central Bucks East High School with Raymond Chow.

She remembered him as an intelligent man and one of the best students in his class.

“As a parent, you can’t imagine a tragedy like that or anything like that. That’s the only thing I could say, or how my children or my son would feel about it, knowing that he graduated with that child and that he knew that child,” she said.

Throughout the day, the action cam observed several police officers entering and leaving the house.

“It’s sad that people have come to this point,” said Scott Woody, who also lives on the block.

Many residents said the news was shocking, to say the least.

“I was speechless,” Mike Fusco noted. “Nobody heard anything. Nothing unusual had happened to any of us.”

Police are still investigating what led to the murders.
