Chronic pain can be both isolating and physically exhausting, but it affects at least one in five adults in the United States – including Ella Emhoff, an artist, model and fashion designer and the stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris and daughter of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.

In a recent Instagram Story, Emhoff shared that she suffers from chronic back pain that sometimes prevents her from creating her knitting artwork, and asked other “people with chronic pain” about their pain management techniques. She received thousands of responses — and decided to share that wealth with the rest of us, via a Google Sheet that’s now pinned to her Instagram highlights.

It’s the stuff dreams are made of: a huge list of products for chronic pain, including but not limited to chronic back pain, that have already been reviewed and recommended by a real person. Of course, we should take these recommendations with a grain of salt—they come from anonymous strangers on the internet, after all—and always talk to your doctor before trying anything new for chronic pain.
