Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever vs. Las Vegas Aces: How to watch

play

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (19-17) are back in action on Wednesday when they face the defending WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces (22-13), at home.

The Fever have struggled against the Aces this season, losing by double digits in their previous meetings on May 25 and July 2. Indiana looked like a different team in the second half of the season, however, winning eight of its last 10 games since the Olympic break, with both losses coming to the No. 2 seed Minnesota Lynx.

The Fever will be feeling good going into the game after pulling off a comeback win in overtime against the Dream. The Aces, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from a close 71-75 loss to league-leading New York Liberty. Aces star A’ja Wilson sat out the game with an ankle injury and was seen wearing a walking boot. Wilson’s injury status for the Fever game has yet to be determined, but her absence would be a major blow to the Aces squad.

Clark is also getting closer to the WNBA rookie points record. With her 26 points against the Atlanta Dream on Sunday, the Rookie of the Year favorite is now second on the all-time list, just 52 points behind Seimone Augustus’ record of 744 points. With four more games to play this regular season, the record seems well within Clark’s reach.

Both teams have already secured a spot in the playoffs, with the Aces currently in 4th place and the Fever in 6th place.

The teams will also face each other again later this week and play a rematch in Indianapolis on Friday night.
