Campbell County Health and Food Inspections (08/05/24–08/11/24)

Campbell County Health and Food Inspections (08/05/24–08/11/24)

GILLETTE, Wyoming – The Wyoming Department of Agriculture’s Division of Consumer Health Services is conducting inspections at retail food stores throughout the state of Wyoming (unless there is a local health department conducting inspections) to help ensure the safety of Wyoming residents.

Campbell County establishments will be inspected by the WDA at least once a year. All of these reports will be published and available on the WDA website. They will only include routine inspections and will not include follow-up or other types of inspections.

According to the WDA, establishments meet or are in violation of either a non-critical (non-food-related) or critical (potentially causing foodborne illness) violation.

The WDA explains that while the organization’s main goal is to educate companies, it looks for deficiencies.

The report is intended to help companies understand unsafe practices and find ways to correct them.

Any violation means that the company is not compliant with the regulations. However, violations can occur at different levels, meaning that non-compliance with the regulations does not necessarily mean that the company is not safe.

Inspections are a snapshot in time, and violations are often corrected before the inspector leaves the facility. Depending on the severity of the violation, the company has between 10 and 45 days to correct it.

Any serious violations or notable citations will be listed in the summary notes below, but the full report for each restaurant can be found on the WDA website, where all current information is posted.
