Prolific Birkin collector Cardi B may be desperate to find another rare Hermès handbag, but she also has a penchant for affordable finds that seem to be inspired by the French fashion house.

In a tearful Instagram Story from last weekend, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper lamented, among other things, her challenge of tracking down one of the luxury label’s handbags. “I don’t understand why I don’t have the bag yet,” the Grammy winner says. “Every day I see on my (Instagram) Explore page that more and more people have the handbag, but I can’t find the handbag. … Every day I call my Hermès connect and it’s just still not in the store. … I’m so sick of it. I’m so tired of everything.” (If you missed it, check out fashion influencer Bryan Yambao’s reaction video for a recap.)

While her luxury problem may not be the most relatable, many of us can relate to the 31-year-old artist’s retail therapy at Target—specifically, in the shoe department. After complaining about hard-to-find Hermès shoes, the singer sounds more optimistic as she points out the Hayley sandals from Wild Fable, one of the mass retailer’s trendy private labels. They’re strikingly similar to Hermès’ Chypre sandals, which retail for $910. Yes: Cardi B’s favorite designer knockoffs at Target will get you the look for 97 percent of the price.

“These are Hermès shoes! Thirty dollars!” she exclaims. In fact, the wallet-friendly slip-ons are just $30 and come in black or white faux leather. They feature a padded footbed, a Velcro closure and an open-toe design. (It’s worth noting that the product label seen in Cardi B’s video is for a different pair of shoes.)

Those looking for a different option can purchase these Nina Slide sandals from A New Day with a similar look for just $20. They come in black, brown and white faux leather, denim and woven beige.

The “I Like It” singer also opted for a pair of white heeled western boots from Universal Thread ($40), which she would wear with “bootcut jeans and gold hoop earrings,” and these ballet flats from A New Day Maxine ($30), which she described as “very Chanel.”

Earlier this month, Cardi B announced that she was expecting her third child with Offset, after filing for divorce from the Migos rapper the same day.

The shoes are part of Target’s stylish range that offers designer looks at a fraction of the luxury price, including these Bottega Veneta-inspired woven handbags and plenty of luxe home decor pieces.
