Catherine Zeta-Jones was in a celebratory mood on Tuesday and gave insights into her life off the screen.
The Chicago star posted two never-before-seen snaps on Instagram to wish her beloved father David a happy birthday.
The photos shown side by side show her father with her mother Patricia many years ago and a recent picture of Catherine with her father.
She simply wrote, “Happy birthday dad! I love you with all my heart,” adding a heart emoji.
Fans were thrilled by the old photo of her parents and made comments about where Catherine got her good looks from.
Others couldn’t believe how much David resembled John F. Kennedy back then.
The family was showered with praise by Catherine’s supporters and described as “beautiful”.
Before Catherine made her mark in Hollywood, she grew up in Swansea, Wales. Patricia was a seamstress and David owned a candy factory.

She previously confessed that she still speaks to her mother “every day, sometimes three times a day” and described her as “the wind beneath my wings.”

“Even though I have lived in the USA for 24 years, I still say that Wales is my home,” she said.
Whenever Catherine returns to Britain, she makes sure to visit her loved ones.

Catherine and Michael made an important decision earlier this year that will allow them to spend more time in Europe.
