A new sports-themed restaurant has now opened in Cedar Rapids and it seems like the perfect place to celebrate game day!

We reported back in June that a new sports restaurant was opening at 3025 Mt. Vernon Road in Cedar Rapids. That was the previous location of Mamacita Taco Bar, which announced its closure in May. Now, say hello to Drink some beer and chewy candy before the game! The new restaurant officially opened this week!

As you can see from the interior shots, Pregame Brew and Chew has plenty of TVs so you can watch your favorite team! They also seem to be big Cub fans. Check out the replica of the Wrigley Field sign behind the bar! I also really like the stadium seats in front of the restaurant. A place to sit if you have to wait for a table!

The menu at Pregame Brew and Chew has something for everyone. Burgers? Sure. Salads and wraps? Of course! There are even vegan options and a healthy selection of sandwiches. There’s even a dish that’s reminiscent of a popular restaurant from the past. The Cork and Fork features bacon, avocado, pickles, sprouts, tomatoes, onions and mayo on rye bread.

And what sports-themed restaurant would be complete without a Caitlin Clark display? Check out the mural on the wall!
