The nomination in USA Today’s “10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards” underscores CHS’s commitment to outstanding customer service, innovative amenities and its role as a major gateway for travelers exploring the Lowcountry and beyond, a press release said.

“We are honored and excited to be nominated for this prestigious award,” said Elliott Summey, CEO of the Charleston County Aviation Authority.

The winner will be announced on October 2nd.

“To be named ‘Best Small Airport’ would be a tremendous honor and would reflect the collective efforts of our entire airport community,” added Summey. “We invite everyone to support us by voting and sharing their positive experiences at CHS.”
