According to Chicago police, an altercation began on July 30 at O’Hare International Airport between a 31-year-old woman and two other women, ages 24 and 40.

The woman shocked onlookers when she jumped over a check-in counter and hurled a computer monitor at Frontier Airlines staff.

Footage of the incident was posted on July 30 by another traveler who told Storyful that the woman missed her flight and then “freaked out” because staff refused to let her board.

In the video, the woman climbs over a baggage carousel into the employee area and begins grabbing and yelling at a Frontier employee. After being pushed back by another airline employee, the woman grabs a computer monitor from the check-in counter and throws it toward the employees, hitting one of them, and hurls a second monitor to the ground. She then climbs back over while yelling “stupid!” toward the Frontier employees.

Chicago police confirmed the incident and said the suspect knocked over items on a desk before throwing a cell phone at the 40-year-old victim, hitting the 24-year-old victim in the leg.

The perpetrator fled the scene and no one was arrested, Chicago police said. The investigation by local detectives is ongoing.

ABC7 has contacted Frontier Airlines for comment.
