Donald Glover has postponed all remaining dates of his North American Childish Gambino tour, including the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix, where the tour was scheduled to arrive on Monday, September 16.

Glover shared the news in an Instagram story on Monday, September 9.

“Hi everyone,” Glover wrote. “Unfortunately, I have to postpone the rest of the North American tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks.”

The New World Tour was scheduled to end on October 3rd.

This is Glover’s first Childish Gambino tour since 2018-2019 and follows the release of “Atavista,” an album he says is the “finished version of 2020’s ‘3.15.20.’”

This final tour, named after his single “This Is America,” played at the Desert Diamond Arena (then Gila River Arena) in December 2018.

What to do if you have tickets to Childish Gambino in Phoenix?

He added that fans should keep their tickets as they would be valid if the concerts were rescheduled, and concluded his message with the words “Thank you for the privacy. Thank you for the support. Thank you for the love.”
