Chloe Bailey loves the newest role she gets to play.
The Chloe x Halle The singer recently shared how excited she is to be her sister’s aunt Halle Bailey‘s son halo.
“It was absolutely incredible,” she told exclusively E! News host Justin Sylvester on the red carpet of her new show on September 4th Fight Night: The Million Dollar Robbery“That’s my little boy.”
And the “Have Mercy” singer stressed that she has a special connection to her nephew, who was born last year and introduced to the world in January.
“Halo is the light of my life,” Chloe continued. “It feels like I gave birth to him.”
And the Grammy nominee is equally proud of her little sister Halle, telling E! News: “I’m going to stand up for her just like she would stand up for me.”
Halle, 24, welcomed her son with her boyfriend DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.), with whom she has been together since March 2022.

And while motherhood is important for the Little Mermaid Stern was full of treasures – the couple took Halo to Italy for the first time in July – but the trip was also full of difficult low points.
“I suffer from very severe postpartum depression,” the 24-year-old said in a Snapchat video in April. “I don’t know if new moms can relate, but it’s gotten to the point where it’s really bad and I find it hard to be away from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out.”
Halle also explained that her experiences as a mother impact how she feels about herself.
“When I look in the mirror, I feel like a completely different person,” she continued. “I feel like I’m in a whole new body and I don’t know who I am. This has nothing to do with my baby. It has everything to do with me and who I am now.”
But Halle recently spoke about how much making music gives her strength.
“I feel most confident when I’m on stage or in the studio,” she told E! News exclusively in an interview with Chloe in August. “I feel confident and unstoppable. When I’m on stage, I feel sexy and fearless.”
Chloe sympathized with her sister, adding: “I have to agree. When I’m in my element and making music that I love, that’s when I feel most confident.”
She will now show this confidence on screen, in the television show Fight Night: The Million Dollar Robberywhich is about a robbery that took place after Muhammad Ali‘s comeback fight from 1970. The show premieres on Peacock on September 5, with new episodes airing every Thursday through October 10.
