Wynonna Judd is currently in freefall because of her wayward daughter and is struggling to keep herself together. Fortunately, there are a number of country stars, led by Dolly Parton have stepped in to help in any way they can.

The insider continued, “She’s completely freaked out and panicked and desperate and struggling to manage her schedule on top of her relationship with her daughter. She needs all the help she can get right now and her friends are calling her, taking her out to dinner and sending her care packages. They’re standing behind Wynonna.”

Wynonna, 60, hasn’t had an easy job lately. Her daughter Grace, 28, was arrested in Georgia on Aug. 3 for the second time this year. She was charged with misdemeanors including improper use of motorcycle equipment, driving with a suspended/revoked license and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, according to Carroll County Jail records. Grace was released the next day on $2,750 bail.

Earlier this year, Grace was arrested in Alabama and charged with prostitution, public nuisance and obstruction of governmental functions. The single mother of one exposed “her breasts and lower body” at the intersection of I-65 and Highway 14 in Millbrook, Alabama, while holding a sign that read “A ride for a ride.” The sign was the basis for the prostitution charge.

“We responded to two calls involving her. The first was when she was observed in the area of ​​stores on Highway 14 near Murphy Oil at Walmart. She had a sign posted that said ‘One Ride for One Ride,'” said the Millbrook Police Chief. PK Johnson told The Daily Mail at the time. “And when she contacted our officers, she discussed with them the legality of what she was doing. And that it was not illegal to offer herself for rides.”

The charge of prostitution was later dropped and the charge of causing a public nuisance was reduced to public lewdness.

None of these encounters was Grace’s first brush with the law. In 2017, Grace was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to manufacturing, delivering, selling and possessing methamphetamine. She served three years in Tennessee State Prison and was released early in 2020.

Wynonna has Grace and a son, Elijah, and the country star has joked about their different personalities in the past. Elijah, 29, works as a deputy with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee.

“I have one on patrol and one on probation,” Wynonna said during an appearance in The Chase! With John Rich.

Wynonna continued, “I’m no different than anyone else. I have children who have made great, successful choices. I have just as much to say about the test – emphasis on the word ‘test’ – of my two children who said, ‘Wow, that didn’t work.’ I’ll tell you this: My daughter is the strongest Judd woman in our ‘herstory.'”
