A closed motel on I-86 near Pennsylvania that filed for bankruptcy has a new owner.
The Post-Journal and the OBSERVER analyzed real estate transactions and recently looked at sales from June 22-30.
During this time, Citizens Bank sold 3025 Route 426, Mina, to Unity Findley Lake, LLC of Findley Lake for $2 million. This is the address of the Comfort Inn & Suites.
The Post-Journal reported in November 2022 that the owners of the Comfort Inn and Suites near Interstate 86 in Findley Lake had filed for bankruptcy. In late February, an arbitrator for Findley Lake Hospitality LLC oversaw the transaction of 3025 Rt. 426, Mina to Citizens Bank for $2,807,107.
The motel is currently closed, but it looks like work is being done on the property. Since July, workers have been tearing out and throwing away all the old furniture. They have also been clearing away the vegetation.

Including the $2 million sale mentioned above, there were 14 sales from June 22-30 where the value was $250,000 or more. Of those 14 sales, four were $1 million or more. The other three appear to be private homes, with one of them having two addresses.
The three seven-figure apartment sales are as follows:

— 7780 East Lake Road, Westfield sold for $1 million.
