ARLINGTON, Texas – One drive after missing a touchdown connection, Dak Prescott, the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback, and CeeDee Lamb, the second-highest-paid wide receiver, managed to connect.
On first-and-10 at the Dallas Cowboys 35-yard line, Lamb ran an easy deep out to New Orleans Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo for what should have been a first down at midfield. Instead, Lamb ducked under Adebo and oncoming safety Tyrann Mathieu and ran the final 50 yards unchallenged for a 65-yard touchdown.

The score reduced New Orleans’ lead to 21-13.
It was the third touchdown of at least 50 yards in the game, although it came about halfway through the second quarter. For the Saints, Rashid Shaheed scored a 70-yard touchdown and Alvin Kamara scored a 57-yard touchdown.
Lamb has now caught a touchdown in seven consecutive home games, matching the NFL’s longest streak over the past 20 seasons, according to ESPN Stats & Info. Five other players have had such a streak, the most recent being DeAndre Hopkins in 2017.
It was the second longest touchdown of his career. He scored a 92-yard touchdown in a win against the Detroit Lions last December.
