Dave Grohl’s wife, Jordyn Blum, was spotted without her wedding ring, weeks before the Foo Fighters frontman admitted to fathering a child out of wedlock.
It is also alleged that 55-year-old Grohl had already hired a divorce lawyer before his infidelity confession.
In early August, the mother of three, who has been married to the rocker since 2003, hinted at possible tensions in her marriage when she decided not to wear her engagement ring during an apparently tense outing together in Los Angeles.
Although the two were seen walking together on the sidewalk, Grohl and Blum, 48, appeared completely separate from each other: He smoked a cigarette while she stared steadily at her phone.
They kept several meters distance from each other as they strolled down the street in their all-black ensembles.
It is not known whether the musician had already told his wife that he had cheated on her and impregnated another woman at the time the pictures were taken on August 1.

On Wednesday, a source told People that Grohl had hired a divorce lawyer ahead of his social media announcement.
Just one day earlier, he had admitted in a statement published on Instagram that he had a daughter with an unnamed woman.
The statement reads: “I recently became the father of a daughter born outside of my marriage. I intend to be a loving and supportive father to her.”
“I love my wife and children and am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We are grateful for your consideration for all the children affected as we move forward together.”
Grohl and Blum, 48, met in 2001 and have been married since 2003. They have three daughters together – Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
Blum previously worked as a model and television producer.
Before the news broke, the couple’s eldest child appeared to have deactivated her Instagram.
The rock star, often described as a “family man,” has spoken about the importance of his family in interviews over the years.

In 2007, Grohl told The Guardian: “(My wife) Jordyn and (daughter) Violet are anchors that keep me from completely disappearing.”
In a 2012 interview with TIME, he said his family had “changed everything I do.”
He added: “It’s changed everything I do. When you have kids, you see life differently. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate. It’s inevitable that that will find its way into songwriting.”
Grohl divorced his first wife, Jennifer Leigh Youngblood, in 1997 after she admitted to infidelity.
While the public knows little about Blum, People reported that she once appeared on the cover of Teen magazine – after being discovered in a supermarket at age 12.
Blum was reportedly working as a producer at MTV when she met the frontman.
But Grohl told Elle in 2007 that he wasn’t ready for a serious relationship when they first met and stopped calling Blum after a few dates.

He said: “After three months I had an epiphany and called her back. She picked up the phone and said, ‘Oh, I never thought I would hear from you again.'”
Blum has worked with the Foo Fighters several times and appeared in the band’s 2002 video for “White Limo”.
She also co-directed the Foo Fighters’ 2002 music video “Walking a Line”.
News of Grohl’s infidelity comes after he was spotted with Blum at Wimbledon in July.
Grohl wore a dark suit with a gold tie, a white shirt and Dolce & Gabbana loafers and smiled with his sunglasses.
She looked stylish in a purple blazer and matching midi dress.
Grohl made headlines earlier this summer when he publicly criticized Taylor Swift, claiming the singer doesn’t sing live.
The Foo Fighters frontman hit out at the pop queen, calling her sold-out tour the “Errors” tour and joking that his band “actually plays live.”

During his performance at the London Stadium, he made reference to Swift when she played on the other side of the capital at Wembley that same evening – which led to boos from some fans.
He addressed the crowd: “We were joking earlier about the Taylor Swift tour. I know she’s on her ‘Errors’ tour.”
“I’m telling you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.”
“That’s why we like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour’.”
“We’ve lived through more than a few eras and more than a few damn mistakes. Just a few.”
The band leader clarified: “That’s because we actually play live. What?”
Amidst great cheers, he continued, “I’m just saying. You like rough live rock’n’roll music, don’t you?”
“You’re in the right damn place!”
In August, Grohl also made his political leanings clear when he declared that all royalties Donald Trump earned from using one of his songs would be donated to Kamala Harris’ campaign.
The former president used the band’s 1997 song “My Hero” when he greeted Robert F. Kennedy at a rally in Arizona after the independent candidate endorsed him.
In a statement to Billboard, the band explained: “The Foo Fighters were not asked for permission, and if they had been, they would not have granted it.”

It further stated that “appropriate action” would be taken against the Trump campaign and that the royalties collected would be donated to the Harris/Walz campaign.
When asked by an X-Account whether the band had given Trump permission to use the song, they simply replied, “No.”
