After visiting Zachary’s Restaurant in West Long Branch, pizza critic Dave Portnoy gave his thin-crust pizza a score of 8.1 out of 10.

“I love bar pies. This looks like a nice, thin… kind of like a bigger bar pie,” he said in a review posted on the One Bite Pizza Reviews YouTube page. “It’s so light, I love that. This is right up my alley.”

“This is my kind of bar pie,” Portnoy said during his late July trip to the coast, stopping at more than half a dozen restaurants. “It’s so light and flaky.”
