The 5150′ Fest with Canaan Smith takes place this Saturday afternoon (August 17, 2024) at David Street Station.
The free 8-hour event features live music, food trucks, drinks, games and more, all in one location in the heart of downtown Casper.
The official David Street Station Facebook page posted that volunteers were needed for the event. The post read:
Volunteering! 😀🍺 For our upcoming 5150′ festival – featuring Canaan Smith this Saturday, August 17th – we’re still looking for a few volunteers to help us pour and serve beer! If you or someone you know is TIPS certified and wants to join us in the fun, you can RSVP by emailing [email protected]!
There are two shifts available, from 2pm to 6pm and from 6pm to 10pm. We are so grateful for all the wonderful people who help us keep drinks flowing at our events… Cheers! 🍻

The Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) program was developed by the Health Education Foundation in Washington, DC, under the direction of Morris E. Chafetz, MD.
TIPS was the first training of its kind for alcohol service personnel and continues to set industry standards for this type of training. What sets TIPS apart from other alcohol training programs is that we believe in a collaborative approach to solving the problems of intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking.
