Demi Lovato becomes an aunt. Her youngest sister, actress Madison De La Garzais preparing for her first baby with her boyfriend Daniela Schröder.

“Oh Ryan, how I love you,” De La Garza, 22, captioned an Instagram post on Thursday, September 5. “Thank you for making all my dreams come true.”

The Desperate Housewives The former student also announced that her due date is next month and posted photos of her baby bump.

Lovato, 32, immediately commented on the post. “I love you,” she wrote, sharing the photo on her own social media.

“Congratulations baby. I love you so much!!!” Lovato wrote on Instagram Stories on Thursday. She shared a photo with her pregnant sister, her older sister Dallas Lovato and mom Dianna De La Garza.

Madison has become a star herself over the years. She followed in her older sister’s acting footsteps and made her Desperate Housewives debuted in 2008 as Juanita Solis and remained on the show until its end in 2012.

Madison also spoke openly about how her sister Demi struggled with substance abuse. Madison recalled the singer’s 2018 overdose in the 2021 docuseries Demi Lovato: Dancing with the devil.

“I heard my mom pick up the phone,” Madison said at the time. “Her voice told me that something really, really bad had just happened and I should probably get dressed because we had to leave.”

She continued, “When I first saw Demi in the hospital, when she opened her eyes, she looked at me. I took her hand and said, ‘I’m here and I love you,’ just to let her know that I had arrived at the hospital, and she looked me straight in the eyes and said, ‘Who is that?’ That’s something you never want to hear your sister say.”

Demi temporarily lost her vision as a result of the overdose. The former Camp Rock participant previously cited Madison as one of the reasons she decided to seek treatment.

“My mom specifically said, ‘You know, we’re moving back to Texas and you’re not going to be able to be around your little sister anymore,'” Demi recalled in a 2013 interview.

Since then, Madison has told us about her own journey to sobriety.

“I haven’t consumed it for 230 days,” she shared on TikTok in February, captioning the video, “I know they’re proud,” referring to her ancestors.
