Denver International Airport officials issued a travel alert Wednesday saying there was a mechanical problem that would cause all trains to be temporarily halted.
DIA officials issued the travel advisory around 2:42 a.m. and said train service had resumed at limited capacity while technicians worked to resolve the issue.
According to DIA officials, the South and West checkpoints are currently open to travelers.
CBS News correspondents in Colorado at the DIA report that lines are backing up along TSA lines and in train waiting areas.
