According to local police, an eight-year-old girl from Ohio drove herself to a Target store nearly half an hour away.

The girl drove her mother’s SUV for 24 minutes from Bedford, Ohio, to a Target in nearby Bainbridge on Sunday morning, local station Cleveland 19 News reported, citing police records.

According to Cleveland 19 News, Bedford police received a report of a missing child and car around 9 a.m. Sunday morning. They searched for the girl and the car and then asked the girl’s neighbors if they had seen anything.

Neighbors gave police access to their Ring doorbells, which are equipped with cameras and microphones. Footage showed the eight-year-old driving off alone that morning.

Officers were unable to find the girl on the street — although surveillance footage showed her driving on a nearby road, Cleveland 19 News reports. Police found the girl at Target on Sunday morning. Her family picked her up from the store.

Bedford police reported Sunday afternoon that the girl was home safe and sound. The girl told police she hit a mailbox while driving, Cleveland 19 News reports.

“I finally found a woman who is in a greater hurry to shop at Target than my wife is. 8 years more in a hurry,” the department wrote on Facebook. “That’s right, an 8-year-old took mom’s car this morning and drove to Target in Bainbridge to shop. Thankfully she made it and was found immediately by Bainbridge police.”

“I’m not sure what she bought or if she even got 5% off with her Target app,” the department continued. “We let her finish her Frappuccino. We mean no harm.”

Police told local broadcaster Fox 8 that no charges would be brought against the girl because she was too young.
