The 330 m2 facility was designed for the local community and customers visiting Shawka, a popular hiking destination.
ENOC Group has announced the opening of its newest petrol station in Ras Al Khaimah, located in Shawka, a popular hiking destination around Wadi Shawka and Shawka Dam.
The facility’s strategic location caters to the fueling needs of motorists heading to Wadi Al Lyat, Wadi Kadra Lake, Wadi Al Munay Breaker, Camel Racetrack, Hanging Garden Kalba, Al Ruman Mountain and Kadra Dam. It also serves nearby prime residential areas such as Al Hail, Heritage, Wadi Esfai, Al Dhaid, The Palm Estate, Al Faya Retreat, Al Badayer Retreat, Platinum Coast, Royal Hotel, Alshahad Farm and Alaslai Farm.
The expansion brings the total number of petrol stations in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to six and in the entire United Arab Emirates (UAE) to 198 stations.
“The new station is in line with the Group’s strategy to meet the UAE’s energy needs and expand our retail presence in the UAE and the wider region,” said Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC.
With a capacity of 272 liters and an area of 330 m2, the new station is equipped with two fuel stations and a fuel pump island and offers Super 98, Special 95, E Plus 91 and diesel. The site also has a ZOOM convenience store and supports automatic tank gauging and electronic leak detection.
In accordance with global NFPA safety standards, the fuel system was built to provide the maximum allowable and safe flow rate to reduce refueling times. This new ENOC site features full retail automation and modern building standards, as well as CCTV surveillance and automatic number plate recognition cameras for maximum security.
