Ex-Patriot Patrick Pass arrested after allegedly shoving elderly man

Former Patriots fullback Patrick Pass was arrested in Rhode Island on Wednesday after allegedly attacking an 82-year-old man at a gym.

According to multiple reports, Pass, 46, and the unidentified man allegedly got into an argument over exercise equipment at a Planet Fitness gym in North Providence in late August before Pass pushed the victim to the ground.

According to several reports, the 82-year-old is said to have suffered back injuries.

Court records obtained by The Post show he was charged Wednesday with assaulting a man in his 60s with bodily harm (felony) and disorderly conduct (misdemeanor).

According to the documents, Pass was given a $10,000 bounty and was prohibited from contacting the victim.

Pass was selected one round after Tom Brady in the 2000 NFL Draft and was part of the Patriots teams that won three Super Bowls.

The fullback ran for 526 yards over the course of eight NFL seasons, recording three rushing touchdowns and one air touchdown.

In 2005, he reached new career highs with 245 rushing yards and 227 receiving yards.

He joined the Giants in 2007 and played one regular season game for the team that defeated the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

In 2023, while coaching the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League, Pass was suspended indefinitely by the league after players jumped into the stands in a wild brawl during a game against the Arizona Rattlers.

He is still listed as the Pirates’ director of football personnel development.

According to court records, his next court date is expected to be in January.
