“I used to work at Boone’s Grocery, for 17 years as a deli cook,” Fairchild said. “We had a taco shop, taco salads, chimichangas, quesadillas. We ran everything out of there.”

She has been part of the community in Gilbert for quite some time. Many call her “Mom.”

She started cooking for her family at a young age.

“My mom was a bus driver at school and every morning she would say, ‘Hey, you have to make tortillas, you have to, you have to make your lunch. You have to make your dinner,'” Fairchild said.

This only helped her improve her cooking skills.
