Florida State Football fans are saddened by the fight between DJ Uiagalelei and FSU

Florida State football fans are not feeling well at the start of the game against Memphis.

On the second play of the game, running back Roydell Williams was hit hard by An’Darius Coffey and lost the ball. Chandler Martin recovered the ball for the Tigers at the FSU 25-yard line.

Memphis was only able to score one field goal, but DJ Uiagalelei and the Seminoles offense continued to look sluggish. When ESPN returned from a commercial break before kickoff, television viewers were greeted by a Seminoles fan in the stands wearing a garnet polo shirt and a bright red wig, drinking from a water bottle and wearing a sign around his neck that read, “We’re done.”

FSU would win three games and be eliminated with two penalties on the drive. That’s pretty much how the season went for the Seminoles, who started out ranked 10th before losing to Georgia Tech and Boston College and are still waiting for their first win.

DJ Uiagalelei-Interception

Uiagalelei started the first quarter by completing 5 of 5 passes for just 7 yards. He finally got a long ball before the end of the first quarter, but he was hit while throwing, resulting in a wobbly pass that was easily intercepted.

While the defense looked better at the beginning, linebackers Justin Cryer and Cam Riley both left the field due to injuries. Receiver Jalen Brown was also injured on a screen pass.

Several FSU fans were spotted in front of ESPN cameras wearing paper bags over their heads that read “0-12?” in black ink.
