Food festivals around the world to add to your bucket list

Food festivals around the world to add to your bucket list

Dubai is one of the world’s most cosmopolitan hotspots. Its diverse workforce consists of over 200 nationalities, which has cemented its status as the eclectic food capital of the Emirates. As a result, this vibrant city has launched several successful food events, including Taste of Dubai, Dubai Food Festival and Speciality Food Festival.

Developed and hosted by the Dubai World Trade Centre, the latter bills itself as “the only gourmet and fine food trade show in the MENA region” as well as “the world’s best marketplace where top chefs, restaurants, hoteliers, suppliers and industry leaders come together”. Indeed, hundreds of guest speakers, emerging artisans, Michelin-starred professionals, restaurant owners, buyers and trendsetters from over 13 countries have interacted with approximately 11,000 annual visitors from over 60 countries.

The exhibitions and workshops include thousands of premium products from six different sectors: artisan and gourmet, vegan and plant-based, organic and free-from, gastronomy, health and wellness, and specialty beverages. So visitors can enjoy everything from high-quality cheese, bread and condiments to plant-based proteins, superfood snacks, organic meats and locally grown produce, as well as specialty beverages such as coffee, tea and mineral water.

Static Media owns and operates Tasting Table, Chowhound, Mashed and The Daily Meal.
