Foot Locker reopens store on 34th Street in NYC

Foot Locker has been a staple among New York City’s sneaker stores for years, and now the global retailer has announced the reopening of its flagship store.

The store is located at 112 W 34th Street and will officially open tomorrow, August 22. According to the retail chain, this location introduces its “Home Court” concept, developed in collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand to provide customers with “exceptional customer service with the latest products on and off the court.” This experience includes basketball-inspired designs inside the store, immersive experiences and cutting-edge technology to help customers find their ideal products. In addition to products from Nike and Jordan Brand, the store will also carry items from Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Under Armour and other brands.

“Our redesigned store embodies Foot Locker’s continued evolution and is a testament to our leadership in sneaker and basketball culture. With the launch of our new Foot Locker ‘Home Court’ in collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand, this location sets a new standard,” said Frank Bracken, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer of Foot Locker, Inc. “We are immensely proud to bring this innovative experience to the heart of New York City, a place designed to serve families, inspire sneaker enthusiasts and honor the spirit of basketball culture.”

This grand reopening of the Foot Locker store on 34th Street in NYC is part of the retailer’s “Lace Up” plan announced in March 2023. This strategy includes the opening of new store formats, including the aforementioned “Home Court” store.
