Epic Games has finally introduced an easy way for you to purchase Fortnite cosmetics without launching the game itself.

Fortnite is constantly updating its store with new and returning cosmetic items for your Fortnite avatar, as well as jam tracks for the Fortnite Festival and bumper stickers for Rocket Racing. The only problem is that players have to log into the game to purchase items.

This can hinder certain players who are unable to access their gaming device before an exclusive cosmetic product leaves the store. The Fortnite Web Shop now allows you to purchase items directly from your favorite browser.

How to buy items in the Fortnite Web Shop

After logging into your Epic Games account, select the item you want and then select the “Buy” option.

1. Go to the Fortnite Web Shop website.
2. Select “Sign In” in the top right and log in to your Epic Games account.
3. Select the item you want and click the “Buy” button.

To use this web store, you must first visit the website itself. This website is an extension of the in-game store, so players can still use Creator Codes when making purchases.

Step 2 – Sign in or create an Epic Games account

Once you arrive, log into your Epic Games account or create a new account by clicking the “Login” button at the top right of the screen. Once done, you should see your username and the number of V-Bucks you have at the top.

Step 3 – Find and buy the item you want

Once you’re logged in, you can select any item you can afford and click the “Buy” button when it becomes available.

Most items should offer a 3D preview with audio so you know exactly what you’re buying, as well as how long the item will be available for and what modes you can use it in.

Step 3 – Find and equip your cosmetics

Now you can go to the category your item is in and select the item, this should be for your character, race car, or whatever you are editing.
