The New York Jets are on the road today to face the Tennessee Titans in Nashville, Tennessee. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. EDT.

The Jets were completely outmatched in their season opener last week. The San Francisco 49ers dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball to pull out a clear 32-19 victory that wasn’t as close as the score suggested. Of particular concern was the Jets’ run defense, which barely scored against an excellent 49ers running game.

Now the Jets are 0-1 as they head to Nashville to face the 0-1 Titans. The Titans put up a dominant defensive performance against the Chicago Bears that was undone by an atrocious performance from quarterback Will Levis and the Titans offense. Now both teams are a little desperate to win, as history has not been kind to teams that start the season with two losses.

The Jets will have to defend their defense against the Titans offense, which shouldn’t be too much of a challenge. Additionally, Aaron Rodgers and the offense will have to play a solid game against the Titans’ good defense. The Jets team entered the season with high expectations, and now would be a good time to fulfill those expectations.

It is an important game for both teams between the Jets and the Titans.
