The opening date of the café at the Menomonee Falls Public Library has been set.
According to a press release from the Chamber of Commerce serving the Greater Menomonee Falls and Sussex region, Latitude Café will open on Friday, September 6, with grand opening activities that day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A ceremonial opening ceremony will take place the day before, September 5, at 4:15 p.m.
Latitude Café is a locally owned and operated coffee shop located in Germantown at W156 N9636 Pilgrim Road since 2003. In 2019, current owners Amber and Daniel Levy purchased Latitudes Coffee House and changed the name to Latitude Café. The business offers locally made and sourced sandwiches, soups, and a variety of coffees.
Latitude Café will donate 10% of its gross café sales to the library.
“We are thrilled to welcome Latitude Café to our library,” said Library Director Jacqueline Rammer in a released statement. “The Village and Library Boards have supported this endeavor and we look forward to bringing this unique and delicious offering to our library patrons.”
What will the grand opening activities include on September 6th?
According to the press release, the grand opening on Sept. 6 will feature activities and events for all ages. There will be a library-wide scavenger hunt from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Rammer leads tours of the library at 12 and 2 p.m.
Latitude Café is offering one gift bag per family while supplies last, as well as free raffle tickets for a chance to win a gift basket filled with treats from Menomonee Falls businesses.

The Latitude Café is located on the second floor of the library and operates in the former library snack room. The library is located at W156N8436 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls.
What’s on the menu at Latitude Café?
Latitude Café’s menu includes yogurt parfait, an acai bowl, a bacon panini and grilled cheese. Drinks include flavored coffee, cappuccinos, cold brew coffee and a spiced cake mocha. Non-coffee beverages include a chai latte, Italian soda, steamer and a fruit smoothie.

The Latitude Café in the Menomonee Falls Public Library is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is closed on Sundays.
