Great Place To Work® announces the best workplaces for 2024 in

Oakland, Calif., August 15, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, is proud to recognize Latin America’s Best Workplaces 2024™.

This year, 125 organizations were selected based on survey data from nearly 2.2 million workers in over 30 countries in Latin America (including Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean). Overall, the survey results reflect the workplace experiences of 3.8 million workers in the region.

This recognition is based on confidential survey data that assesses employee experiences of trust, innovation, company values and leadership. Companies are also evaluated on how well they create a For All™ workplace experience where every employee feels supported and valued, no matter who they are or what they do.

Companies on the 2024 list have higher numbers of employees who put in extra effort at work and more employees who adapt quickly to change, key indicators of how ready they are to adopt new technologies like AI.

In a market survey of more than 5,000 workers in South and Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, Great Place To Work found that six in 10 workers were excited about using AI tools at work. However, only three in 10 said their employer invested in their training on how to use AI.

At Best Workplaces™, eight out of 10 employees say management includes them in decisions that affect them, and nine out of 10 employees say management collaborates on implementing new ideas. In the typical workplace, only half of employees, or five out of 10, said the same for both experiences.

“Congratulations to the best employers in Latin America,” says Michael C. Bush, Global CEO of Great Place To Work®. “These companies have overcome some of the world’s toughest conditions to deliver better experiences for their employees, setting a strong example for companies around the world.”

Companies on the list are divided into three categories based on size: small and medium (50 to 499 employees), large (500+), and multinational. Multinational organizations are also judged on their efforts to create great workplaces in multiple countries in the region. They must appear on at least three national lists in Latin America and have at least 1,000 employees worldwide, with at least 40% (or 5,000) of them working outside their headquarters country.
