Holland’s Paisley Pig prepares to rebrand as Tell-Tales Trattoria

HOLLAND — Following a change in ownership, the Paisley Pig of Holland is renamed Tell-Tales Trattoria. The restaurant will celebrate its last day as the Paisley Pig on Saturday, August 24.

“Join us for a night to remember as we celebrate the final night before our exciting transformation into a new dining experience,” the restaurant wrote on social media earlier this week. “We are so excited to show you all what’s in store! Stay tuned for more grand opening details.”

What about the Paisley Pig in Grand Haven?

The new restaurant is separate from the Paisley Pig in Grand Haven.

“In light of our decision to rename, we want to assure you that the Grand Haven Paisley Pig is under separate ownership and will remain open,” the company wrote.

Will my gift cards be accepted?

According to a previous post, all white gift cards purchased from the Paisley Pig of Holland will be honored or redeemed for Tell-Tales until December 31. Other versions of the cards expired on August 1.

What else was in the building at 1642 S. Shore Drive?

The building at 1642 S. Shore Drive was previously home to Black Sheep Baa and Grill until Paisley Pig purchased the business in 2019.

Black Sheep opened in 2015 at the former location of the Parkway Inn, which was owned and operated for 20 years by Curt Fuglseth, owner of the James Street Inn.

The restaurant was later purchased by Itty Bitty Bar owner Michael Barber, who breathed new life into the family-run restaurant by completely remodeling the existing building.

What’s currently on the menu at Paisley Pig?

The gastropub is known for pulled pork nachos, cheese curds, pub fries, meatloaf, pulled pork, burgers, artisan pizza and sandwiches.

It was not immediately clear what would be on the menu at Tell-Tales.
