Holy Cross Athletics and Dining open food station for student athletes

Holy Cross Athletics, in partnership with Holy Cross Dining, has opened a new food station for student-athletes in the newly redesigned Crucessions “Sader Kitchen” in the Luth Athletic Complex.

Holy Cross hosted a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting for the new food station on the first day of school on Tuesday, August 27.

The food station was created based on direct feedback from student-athletes who expressed a desire for an accessible breakfast at the Luth Athletic Complex after morning practice. The station is open to student-athletes from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and offers a variety of homemade, high-protein options:

Groceries:
Energy Bites
Hard-boiled eggs
Banana Coconut Overnight Oats
Overnight Oats with Sunbutter and Chocolate Chips
Fruit cup
Whole fruit

Snacks:
Protein buns
Child Bar
Clif Builder Bars
Dumbbells
Honey Stinger Waffles

Smoothie:
Power Boost Banana Sunbutter Smoothie
Tropical green smoothie
Banana berry smoothie

(Protein contained in all smoothies)

Drinks:
Hot chocolate
Latte/Coffee/Tea
Chocolate milk
orange juice
Gatorade
Water

The existing food stands at the Luth Athletic Complex have been completely renovated and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to not only serve student-athletes in the mornings, but also to improve and enhance the food experience for fans of Holy Cross basketball and hockey competitions. More information on Crucessions’ newly remodeled Sader Kitchen during upcoming Holy Cross Athletics events will be available soon.
